Overview

The Regional Marketing Specialist reports to the GGB-US Vice President, Marketing and works directly with the Regional Marketing Manager to execute Regional marketing initiatives, and act as a secondary marketing point of contact for Regional Presidents and Branch Presidents. Focused primarily on executing marketing campaigns and initiatives in support of driving organic growth, the Regional Marketing Specialist will work closely with the GGB-US Marketing Team and internal and external creative, event management and production resources to deliver key marketing activities and programs, including lead generation campaigns, events, advertising, public relations and social media.

  • Establishment and building of strong relationships across internal marketing resources
  • Project management of marketing strategies and campaigns in support of Regional marketing/sales plans and goals
  • Timeline management
  • Status reporting
  • Campaign monitoring and reporting
  • Activation of Regional and Divisional marketing campaigns
  • Competitive analysis (as needed)
  • Industry analysis and prospect research (when necessary)
  • Tracking and measuring effectiveness of marketing efforts in driving sales, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI
  • Coordinating the approval process with Regional and Divisional stakeholders
  • Ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency of corporate standards
  • Promoting cross-marketing opportunities - encouraging greater learning, communication and sharing of ideas across the Gallagher marketing community

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience required.

Highly Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, and 3 years relevant experience in B2B marketing, commercial insurance experience is a plus
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Workfront or other project management software/applications
  • Familiarity with SalesForce a plus
  • Proven record of successful multi-project management that resulted in increased brand visibility and sales leads
  • Experience creating and handling detailed work plans based on defined scope and objectives
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Experience leading integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including paid, earned and owned media channels
  • Experience creating and running marketing scorecards, dashboards or other relevant reports
  • Experience handling project budgets
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
