What you will do:

The Consumer and Market Insights (CMI) Manager Marketing Analytics supports the Marketing team by conducting research and translating data from various syndicated and primary research sources into a seamless and compelling narrative to drive business outcomes with a focus on marketing effectiveness. They will lead initiatives to up-level analytic prowess across the organization and independently design and analyze primary research projects. This is an analytical role that requires excellent analytical, presentation, project management, and relationship-building skills. Attention to detail is critical. This role also requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with timely delivery of assigned tasks.

Heres a day in the life:

  • Lead the marketing analytics vertical within Consumer & Market Insights.

  • Develop and lead primary research to support marketing strategy and effectiveness.

  • Demonstrate excellent ability to seamlessly integrate data inputs from disparate primary and secondary data sources into a cohesive narrative to drive action in support of business objectives for both internal and external audiences.

  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability.

  • Manage junior talent with a focus on professional development as insights business partners.

  • Demonstrate excellent ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with timely delivery of assigned tasks.

  • Demonstrate continuous elevation of CMI function through advanced analytics and tool development.

  • Uplevel analytic prowess across the organization through regular insights share-outs and coaching.

  • Demonstrate excellent ability to anticipate and hear business questions and develop platforms to efficiently and effectively drive data-informed action through ruthless focus and out-of-the-box thinking.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including listening skills.

  • Act as a team player and able to interact with staff at all levels of the company, maintaining effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.

  • Interest in consumer insights, marketing, sales enablement, strategic planning, building processes, team building, and evolving your skillset.

  • Integrate data from various platforms to provide a comprehensive view of marketing performance.

  • Partner closely with the Data scientist to develop a fully integrated MMM (Marketing Mix Model).

  • Stay informed of the latest trends in business intelligence, data analytics, research & strategy, the FMCG sector, macro-and-socio-economic, and consumer shopping and consumption behaviors.

  • Partner with the reporting team to develop and maintain dashboards measuring marketing performance, generate insights, and communicate those learnings to different levels of the organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies of record to drive marketing initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze key marketing KPIs, such as campaign effectiveness, consumer acquisition, and ROI, to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities to optimize demand creation based on data-driven insights.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout all stages of analysis and reporting.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Statistics, Anthropology, Sociology or related field is required.

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in syndicated or primary data analysis is required, ideally in the food and beverage industry.

  • Experience and passion for leading and developing people and functional capabilities.

  • Experience delivering presentations to executives, sales, marketing, and/or category/brand teams.

  • Experience with IRI, Nielsen, Datassential, NPD preferred.

  • Experience designing, fielding, and reporting primary research is required.
